Brother's Wedding

Hola!

In this post I'm going to share on my brother's wedding.

The funny thing was I had a misinformation that their solemnization took place on Thursday night instead of Friday night, and I already applied for an off-day on that Thursday night. When my mom told me that the solemnization would be on Thursday night because the Qadi would be busy on Friday, I was just agreed and applied for the off-day on that night. Geez, the struggle was real when I had to change my working schedule since it was totally a misinformation. I was so thankful that someone had been able to change his working schedule and replaced my place. Thanks Zahari.

During that big day, my family agreed to wear something pastels. Luckily, I got a peplum dress on sale. The hardest part was finding my husband's shirt. Due to the fact that he refused to wear something in long sleeves, I had to find a mint color collared shirt with short sleeves, plus, with a nice material a.k.a fabric. Lucky for me that I found him the said shirt but a little bit unlucky for him because I bought him a wrong size shirt. So, it's like :-

Color : PASS
Sleeves : PASS
Collar : PASS
Dress code : PASS
Size : FAIL

Well, it was a long-way journey to return it back. In addition, I had already washed and ironed it. So, with my cute smile and a sincere apology, I just hand him the shirt (with the wrong size) and let's head to the wedding. (:

I'm not really sure whether mom's holding a baby for practicing since my sister is pregnant or she really wanted a grandchild. :D

Suka betul abong.

Jadinya, kita pinjam kerusi pengantin sebab bukan senang nak pakai baju warna sama ni.

A personal OOTD after married is not a seizable offense isn't it. (:

Thanks to my brother and my sister because they were actually keen to have our families wore a same dress code according to the theme. As for me, when my friends asked what they were going to wear on my big day, I just told them "just wear something nice as long as you feel pretty and that's fine with me." Same goes to my family as well, I don't really have a theme for my wedding. Just wear something modest, comfy and nice. Honestly, I really enjoyed dressing up according to the theme or dress code of an event. Somehow, on my big day, I don't have time to think about what others are wearing. lol. (Sadly, I even forgot to put on a veil during my wedding. lol)

Till then,
goodbye.
